Piknik’s New Concert Program “Eternal Movement”

The legendary Piknik band, which recently celebrated its 45th anniversary with a major tour, is already preparing a new program, “Eternal Movement.” A self-titled album will be released in the fall of 2026, and songs from it will definitely be performed!
Edmund Shklyarsky shared the lyrics to a verse of one of the new songs, “Yard,” for which a music video is being prepared:
“This yard is a yard for all yards,
They live there seemingly in defiance.
The staircase there doesn’t lead to heaven,
The glass is full. That’s all the miracles.”

The ironic everydayness of these lines is merely an overture to real miracles. In keeping with Piknik tradition, when the lights go down, the laws of surrealism, philosophical metaphors, and innovative sounds come into play.
Edmund Shklyarsky: “Each new program should be like a new world, so that the audience can discover something amazing and inspiring.”

Piknik is an iconic Russian rock band known for its musical experimentation and unique style, which combines elements of surrealism, philosophy, and an interest in electronic sound. Piknik is a rare example of a band where the audience can accommodate both veterans of the 1980s rock movement and young listeners who discovered the magic of Piknik through soundtracks and digital releases.
